James Pickles is a born poet. Poetry is and always has been his life’s work although his career is in journalism. He sees with the poet’s eye, capturing the moment and framing it like a gem in words.

Although he has had poetry published in several magazines, including The Spectator, no volume has been taken up by the mainstream. But then an ability to see goodness with an open heart is not, after all, particularly fashionable.
